Ivan Baxter, Consultant, is a Senior Lawyer who has been practicing as a Litigation Lawyer in Queensland since 1991. He is extremely experienced in litigation law, specifically, suing insurance companies on behalf of people who have been injured due to negligence. He practices exclusively in personal injury law, compensation claims representing plaintiffs. Ivan represents clients from all over Queensland.

Ivan spent his childhood in Charters Towers and Abergowrie, studied law at The University of Queensland and landed in Townsville in 1988 to start work as a lawyer at O'Shea Dyer Solicitors. He became a Partner in 1995 and upon incorporation in 2013, he became the sole Director. He is now a full-time Consultant of the firm.

He is a natural leader who is approachable, levelheaded and consistent. Like most good litigators, he has a competitive streak and likes his team to win. Relationships

O'Shea Dyer has existed since 1983 and has been helping people for over 43 years. Ivan is proud to have been part of OSD for over 35 of those years and to have assisted and represented many people. Ivan's humor and optimism light the office. There is always a joke at the ready. He is a man who sees the silver linings. He is married with 2 adult children. He is a coffee addict, a Cowboy's fan, and is devoted to his golden retriever, Rory.
